Update 22 August 2026: Bumped back up to 5 stars!!!! Following my previous update, the restaurant manager, Victor, reached out to us directly to address what happened. I really appreciate a management team that takes customer feedback seriously. We returned for another visit, and the experience was great—attentive, efficient, and friendly service throughout. A big shout out to Xolani! The food was on point, as usual! Great to be back as regulars! Update 9 August 2026: Dropping from 5 to 3 stars We went to Wimpy Lintons Corner again as we usually do. It was packed and we didn’t mind. We were asked to wait at the smaller table by the door while people at a bigger table settle their bill, then we could go sit there. Another family of 4, just like us, walked in. There was a guy, not sure if he is a manager, who was very eager to immediately give them a table, to the point of giving them the table that we had been waiting for. The two ladies who had welcomed us and told us to wait, tried to tell him that the table was for us and that we had been waiting but he couldn’t be bothered. We had to get up and confront him about why he would give the table to people who just walked in while we’ve been waiting. The ladies tried to help get another table, which meant waiting for another group to settle their bill. We were obviously not willing to wait again. We decided to leave and got to Wimpy The Grove where we received great service. Previous Review: Great service all the time and the food is always delicious!!!
