Thumbs up for Wimpy Plattekloof, especially with the convenience of them being open 24 hours.
The food is consistently fresh—even down to the burger buns. (I have noticed a lot of places think customers won't notice stale bread if they just toast it, but we do! This Wimpy actually gets this right, serving properly fresh, soft buns, even for a late night trip)
The staff are friendly and the prices are reasonable. It can take a bit long to get your food, but that's a fair tradeoff for fresh, quality meals. Plus, their current special offering a milkshake for R20 with any burger meal is fantastic value for money.

24 hours - Brilliant "after the party" place to stop for a midnight feast! Who needs a garage pie when you can have a wimpy burger at 02h00 in the morning???🤣
